Policy: Contracting with External Parties for Online and Hybrid Learning
In pursuit of the University of Michigan’s commitment to excellence in online education, all proposed engagements with third-party service providers used in the design, delivery, marketing, or other operations of online and hybrid programs (OHPs)—including for-credit and noncredit offerings and regardless of whether content is delivered to enrolled students or members of the general public—must be reviewed and approved through the OHP External Partnership Review Process as detailed in this Policy.
To initiate an OHP External Partnership Review, complete this service request form. This review will be most effective if initiated when a potential partnership need is first identified. Please note that having a potential service provider in mind or a proposed agreement in hand is not required to initiate this process
