The Staff Budget Engagement Committee (SBEC) was launched in January, 2024, to better meet the commitment by the Office of the Provost to engage the U-M Ann Arbor community around budget transparency and the budget process. Members of the SBEC are staff from across schools, colleges, and units.  The SBEC members serve for two years, meeting approximately four times per academic year.
