The Faculty Budget Engagement Committee (FBEC) was launched in 2022 to invigorate communication about the U-M budget between the U-M Ann Arbor faculty and the Office of the Provost. Members of the FBEC are drawn from U-M Ann Arbor schools and colleges including faculty in any track and at any rank. The FBEC members serve for two years, meeting approximately four times during the academic year.
