Guidance for staff members working on sponsored projects or in technology transfer

I’m a staff member working on a research grant for a U-M faculty member.  What responsibility do I have to monitor and disclose potential COIs and COCs?

If you are a staff member working on a sponsored research project and you have a financial interest in an outside entity related to the research, you may have an obligation under the conflict of interest policy established by the Office of the Vice President for Research.  For assistance in determining whether you have a disclosure responsibility, see http://orsp.umich.edu/policies/um/coi/howto.html.

If you have questions (e.g., about particular disclosure requirements) more information is available from the Office of the Vice President for Research.  See http://www.research.umich.edu/.
