Some potential conflicts of commitment and conflicts of commitment are complex matters requiring the involvement of several offices. Federal disclosure requirements can also be a complicating factor.  In view of this complexity, you may encounter situations where you may not have the information you need—or even know the right questions to ask.  There are resource people throughout the University who can help.  Talking with the head of your unit is always a good first step.
